​What is the Beaver Challenge?

Beaver Challenge is an international initiative aiming to promote informatics and computational thinking among school students at all ages. It is organized in over 50 countries (3 million participants) and designed to get all students excited about computing.

Each participant gets 45 minutes to answer 12 questions that focus on logical thinking and computing.

If you are among the top ranked students in Beaver Egypt:

You will get a 45 hours scholarship to learn C++ Programming Language and will improve your Problem Solving Skills.

After the Training:

Be ready for the contests qualifying for the the Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics (EOI).

What is the Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics (EOI)?

The EOI is the biggest programming contest for school students since 2003 under the patronage of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and Arab Academy for Science and Technology.

What if I won a medal in EOI?

You will join the national Egyptian team for informatics. You will be trained by foreigners and Egyptian experts plus you will be representing Egypt in the international competitions.

What is the cost of participation in Beaver and EOI?

Zero Cost. The Ministry of Communication and Information           Technology covers all the costs plus the travel tickets and         accommodation to represent Egypt internationally.
